Declaration under the RTI act 2005
Section 4 (1) (b) of RTI Act 2005 covers the statutory
declaration of Rajiv Gandhi Government College Chaura
Maidan, Shimla – 4. Our college is recognized by Govt. of Himachal Pradesh and
Affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University. It runs as per the rules and
regulations made by government from time to time. The college has different
cells or committees to maintain all types of discipline in the in the campus.
All the cells or committees of the institutions as per the statutory
provisions.
Any Indian citizen can obtain information about any
public authority, including documents and records by applying to the Public
Information Officer of that Authority. The applications under the RTI Act along
with a postal order/demand draft for Rs. 10.00 obtained in favour
of Principal, Rajiv Gandhi Government College Chaura
Maidan, Shimla – 4. This application may be sent to the Public Information
Officer (PIO) or handed over in his/her office. All information about the
college is open for the public and it can it obtained by citizens of India.

the disclosure of which would cause a branch of privilege of Parliament or the
State legislature.

including commercial confidence, trade secrets or intellectual property, the
disclosure of which would harm the competitive position of a third party,
unless the competent authority is satisfied that larger public interest
warrants the disclosure of such information.

available to a person in his fiduciary relationship, unless the competent
authority is satisfied that the larger public interest warrants the disclosure
of such information.
§Information
received in confidence from foreign Government.
§Information
the disclosure of which would enlarge the life of physical safety of any person
or identify the source of information or assistance given in confidence for law
enforcement or security purposes.
§Information
which would impede the process of investigation or apprehension precaution of
offenders.
§Provided
that the information which cannot be denied to the Parliament or a State
Legislative shall not be denied to any person.

Online: Department of Personnel & Training has
launched a web portal namely RTI online with URL [www.rtionline.gov.in] for all
Central Ministries/Departments. This is a facility for the Indian citizens to
