• The state sponsored scholarship schemes are mainly merit based.
• Merit lists received from Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education Dharamshala (HPBOSE) and Himachal Pradesh University Shimla (HPU)/Sardar Patel University Mandi (SPU) are uploaded on official website of Directorate of Higher Education, H.P.
• As per Merit lists uploaded on DHE websites, filling up of scholarship applications by the concerned applicants on NSP and verification at Institutional level is required. The institutional Head must ensure that no eligible student is left in his/her Institutions without scholarship. All the particulars and bank details must be correct. Bank account of applicant should be Aadhaar seeded.

CHECKLIST FOR CENTRALLY SPONSORED SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES

• Bonafide Himachali Certificate uploaded.
• Income Certificate issued by competent authority (SDM/Tehildar/Naib Tehsildar) uploaded.
• Aadhaar Card.
• Previous class certificate uploaded.
• Caste Certificate issued by competent authority uploaded.
• Bank account No., Name of Bank Branch, IFSC Code, Bank account Aadhaar seeded and got certified from concerned bank branch.
• Name and other particulars in all documents as per Matriculation Certificate of applicant.
• Fee claim (Tuition fee, Examination fee, admission fee etc) is genuine. No fund has been claimed.

CHECKLIST FOR STATE SPONSORED SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES

• The applicant has applied under the same scheme in which his/her name is figuring in the merit list uploaded on website of Departmental of Higher Education.
• Name of applicant in all academic certificate, Aadhaar card, Bank passbook is as per his/her matriculation Certificate.
• Previous Class Certificate has been uploaded.
• Website of Department of Higher Education is regularly visited and timeline at each level is strictly adhered to.

FREESHIP POLICY

Under this scheme Tuition Fee of girls students who are Bonafide Himachali is waived off.
